As a mom of two girls I had let myself slide. I stopped taking care of me.
A big health scare prompted me to start taking my health seriously. During the multitude of testing, I was diagnosed with arthritis. In pain. Couldn't lift a laundry basket. Could not drive for more than 3 minutes without switching hands because I had such horrible wrist pain.
I tried everything on my own, walking, eating what I thought was "healthy", working out to random workout videos on line, going to fitness classes, but all did not prove successful.
Until a good friend told me that she started coaching and running these secret Facebook groups to help with accountability, recipe sharing, motivation and inspiration. The at-home workouts were only 30 minutes and a different one for each day of the week. Well needless to say I did not hesitate to sign up!
After the first week my transformation began. I started to feel better, my clothes started fitting better, I had a TON of energy, my strength was appearing, I was starting to feel like the "old" me.
Fast forward to today and I feel no arthritic pain, my cholesterol has dropped to normal, I am in the best shape of my life.
Because of the transformation I went through, I wanted to pay it forward and become a coach myself.
I can honestly say it is one of the most rewarding jobs out there and I'm super thankful Beachbody came into my life.
